Finally home from the bar and back at the mansion, Beatrice changed into a much more comfortable tank top and boxers. After having to be the sophisticated female badass for the Felt, she’s typically sick of having to look nice once she can settle down for the night. Sliding into her chair at her desk, she raked a hand through her short curls while waiting for her email to finish loading.

It had been a while since she’d contacted Pyrope, her Japanese penpal. Though considerably younger, she was a great friend, and always honest. She could justify her opinions and Beatrice often found herself forgetting the age difference between them.

Opening up a new email, she typed a short message.

“Hello again, Seer. How have you been, darling?”

  It wasn’t the beginning of summer, nor was it nearing to its end, but you already wished that it would last longer than it already did. Even though the days you’ve spent at home doing absolutely nothing made you incredibly bored.

While having to be at the top of her game as Sn0wman, and being a responsible bar owner, she’d become completely useless in her everyday life. Stacking the mounds of legal documents into neater piles, Beatrice was relieved when the computer gave off the ping that signaled a new email. Thankful for the mental change of subject, she replied back.
